Mindwize is looking for an experienced International Account Manager Fundraising to oversee one of their larger accounts with an international NGO clients based in Sweden. The Manager will serve as a strategic partner for the client and will advise them on strategies that help build long-term donor relationships in Sweden, Norway, and France. The Manager will also advise on donor acquisition and retention and will create plans that deliver results. They will move easily between direct mail, online telemarketing, and loyalty programmes and will work closely with colleagues from different disciplines to create effective campaigns that result in loyal donors, growth for the client, and a healthy margin for the organisation.
Primary responsibilities
The Account Manager will:
- Turn the client’s ambitions into a solid fundraising plan and, together with the project manager, deliver and implement the plan.
- Oversee multiple campaigns simultaneously and adjust the plan according to the data.
- Prepare meetings and presentations well and present advice clearly and succinctly.
Profile
The ideal candidate will recognize themselves in the following profile:
- At least 3 years of experience in private fundraising/direct response and understand the power of multi-channel campaigns and loyalty programs.
- At least 3 years of experience in overseeing multi-country, direct response marketing or fundraising campaigns.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, the ability to advise at a senior level, process a lot of information, structure it quickly, and make clear choices.
- Analytical and commercial, you feel at home with numbers, steer on results, and take ownership of the agency margin.
- Able to make decisions, keep calm under pressure, enjoy working with teams, and bring a healthy dose of humour.
- Strong communication skills, the ability to communicate quickly, clearly and directly, both in meetings and in presentations.
- An excellent command of English; Swedish is a strong plus.
What Mindwize offers:
- A full-time contract (40 hours) with a salary between €4,100 and €5,500 per month (depending on experience), plus 8% holiday allowance.
- Pension accrual under the Mindwize pension scheme.
- The option to join the bike plan, which can save around €1,000 on a new bicycle.
- Bootcamp and yoga classes.
- 26 vacation days per year (based on full-time employment). After 3 years of service, you receive 1 extra day, and after 7 years another extra day. Employees can also buy up to 10 additional days.
- If traveling by public transport, employees receive a contribution equal to the cost of a subscription. If traveling by car and the one-way commute is between 10 and 30 km, employees receive a mileage allowance of €0.23 per km.
- Plenty of room for development via Mindwize’s own e-learning platform, internal workshops and training, and visits to international conferences and seminars.
- A strong focus on work–life balance (hybrid working, flexible hours, home office allowance and the option to work temporarily from another location “workation”).
- A centrally located office, within walking distance of Hoofddorp station, close to Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport.
Terms and conditions
This position is based in the Netherlands. Mindwize warmly welcomes candidates who are living abroad and are willing to relocate to the Greater Amsterdam area. The team is used to working with non-Dutch colleagues and, while English is not the official company language, it is widely spoken in the team. Mindwize can offer support with relocation to help the candidate settle in.
