The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) is a leading advocate for survivors of clergy and religious abuse. Combining expert legislative advocacy with a self-help group model, SNAP is the largest and most active support network for survivors of institutional abuse. Founded in 1988 by Barbara Blaine, a survivor herself, SNAP began with a focus on the Catholic faith and has since expanded to support survivors from all religious backgrounds.
