SOS Children’s Villages Italia is part of the SOS Children’s Villages network, the largest organization in the world which has been committed for over 70 years to ensuring that children and young people who cannot benefit from adequate parental care grow up on an equal footing with their peers, full potential and the ability to live an independent life.
SOS Children’s Villages operates in 138 countries and territories, where it helps over 1 million people including boys, girls, boys, girls and their families. In Italy, it promotes the rights of over 33,000 children and young people and takes care of over 800 people, including children, teenagers and families experiencing serious moments of hardship. It does so through 7 SOS Programs and Villages, respectively in Trento, Ostuni (Brindisi), Vicenza, Saronno (Varese), Mantova, Torino and Crotone.
