Mentoring Matters is a pioneering, global non-profit organisation that aims to redress the balance of equity and opportunity within the creative industries. Working from the grass roots up to promote broad and meaningful impact that can empower a wide range of participants and businesses. We work to avoid surface contributions and forge deeper in an attempt to tackle real systemic change. Created for candidates from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, we utilise a variety of innovative, transformative methods to uplift our candidates into the workplace. We create a support system that they can rely on and benefit from as they navigate their career path. We have cultivated a genuine community for change and given our candidates access to a network that previously existed for only a privileged few.
