Make-A-Wish grants the most heartfelt wishes of children and young people aged between 3 and 18 living with a serious medical condition to give them hope, strength and joy.

Based in Nyon, Make-A-Wish Switzerland was founded in 2003. We work with doctors and healthcare professionals throughout Switzerland with the support of a network of volunteers across the country. We are a financially and legally independent Swiss foundation supervised by the Federal Department of Home Affairs. 

Make-A-Wish is an affiliate of Make-A-Wish International with 50 affiliates around the world.

Represent the affiliate as its CEO in all dealings with other organizations and companies, Make-A-Wish International, the other affiliates, individuals, corporate partners, the media and the general public and the wish families.

Lead the organisations’ fundraising, PR, Marketing and Communication operations.

Responsible for HR, IT, Administration and legal operations.

• 5 years minimum management experience preferably within a Swiss charity of public utility or of an international charity based in Switzerland.
• 5 years fundraising experience in corporate and major gifts fundraising within Switzerland.
• Marketing experience in Switzerland.
• Preference for mother-tongue English with fluency in written and spoken French and German. Italian an asset.
