Job description

Reporting to the International Development Director, the International Development Department Manager ensures the development, coordination and monitoring of our international clients.

More specifically, he/she will be responsible for the following missions:

  • Proposing the international development strategy and transforming this strategy into operational action plans:

-  Defining and ensuring implementation of the action plan in its target areas

-   Preparing the budget, the associated annual and pluri-annual action plans, and ensuring its application

-  Helping to identify potential key accounts and participating directly in relations with strategic key clients

  • Ensuring the development of Fondation de France services among international funds and foundations, major private and corporate donors.

  • Coordinating and managing the team in charge of implementing and promoting the strategy and optimising the tools, processes and resources deployed to guarantee the quality of our offer.

  • Guaranteeing the reputation and image of Fondation de France at an international level:

- Supervising implementation of the international communication plan

- Coordinating events held abroad

- Helping to promote and develop Fondation de France through its contributions, interviews and actions in the sector's various professional bodies.

Candidate requirements

Candidates should have a master's degree (M1 or M2 from a leading university) and experience in negotiating techniques, having worked for at least 10 years’ in international resource development (China, Japan, USA, Europe, etc.) for a charity, foundation or fundraising agency.

Sound knowledge of the international philanthropic sector and excellent analytical capabilities.

Proven experience in the management of complex projects and at the head of different networks (volunteers, partners, etc.). Autonomy, sense of priority, ability to organised joint actions, efficient reporting skills.

Bilingual (French/English), third language a bonus.


Additional comments

The position is based at our head office at 40 avenue Hoche Paris 75008 - near Charles De Gaulle Etoile metro station, but involves international travel.
