CARE (Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere), in conjunction with NCE Consulting, has an ambitious plan to create a national in-house F2F Fundraising program to help fund the vital work of CARE and to inspire a new generation of ongoing supporters. CARE provides relief in times of disaster, aids during refugee crises, and focuses on sustainable solutions to poverty through the empowerment of women and girls.
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and strategic leader to expand these programs on a nationwide scale. Included in the portfolio of this position will be widespread travel, attendance at international conferences, and the opportunity to establish a successful in-house program from the ground floor.

To effectively lead, direct and manage all field and operational activities of a national Face to Face (F2F) Fundraising Program on behalf of CARE;
Ensure that CARE achieves its ambitious targets for the recruitment of committed donors with low attrition rates through F2F Fundraising;
Manage Field Activities:
Provide daily management and coaching to City Managers. Apply an understanding of motivational theory and practice to ensure that, on a daily basis, each City Manager and therefore each Team Leader and Fundraiser is operating as effectively as possible;
Support the launch of new teams by overseeing the selection, induction and field training of new Fundraisers. Provide leadership in the field by recruiting committed donors personally, and providing one-to-one coaching for all field staff;
Manage City Managers in all aspects of donor recruitment, thereby ensuring that Care’s efficiency targets are constantly exceeded. This will normally be a minimum per shift average (PSA) of 1.6 new committed donors per Fundraiser, within agreed quality metrics. Ensure that each City Manager is focused, equipped and empowered to exceed donor recruitment targets;
In collaboration with the Human Resources (HR) function, identify Fundraiser recruitment objectives, and support the meeting of those objectives so that Care’s F2F Fundraising activity meets its targets;
In collaboration with the HR function, maintain employment records and time-keeping records to support the management of payroll;
In collaboration with the City Managers, identify and address individual, team and office training needs;
Identify operational needs, and provide operational and logistical support for all field related activities, including stock management;
Oversee the application of NCE’s performance management processes with objectivity and impartiality. Produce weekly and ad hoc performance management reports and support the HR Function in developing these processes;
Provide the conduit for all communication between Care and the City Managers;
Be available to work unsocial hours including weekends, public holidays and some evenings as the nature of the role will regularly require this.
Manage Operational Activities:
Identify, develop and provide regular reporting to support field recruitment thereby ensuring profitability is maintained. Analyze reports to consistently improve the efficiency of the field and the profitability of the program;
Develop and provide bespoke and regular reports for NCE and Care;
Proactively manage stock levels within offices and head office; ensure that stock is consumed in line within budget, and that, when additional stock is required, it is ordered and delivered on time.
Oversee the process of applying for and managing licensing and permitting to ensure that all F2F Fundraising activity is conducted in accordance with local, state and federal regulations;
Oversee the booking and administration of all sites, and manage the relationship with site providers;
Oversee the complaint response process; ensure all complaints are acknowledged and investigated within agreed timescales and that feedback is passed to the relevant City Manager(s);
Ensure that sufficient numbers of tablet computers are available; manage relationships with service providers, and proactively ensure the integrity of data contained therein;
A successful track record in F2F Fundraising;
Proven experience in setting up and managing multisite F2F Fundraising programs;
Proven experience in distance management of F2F Managers and teams;
Identifiable leadership skills and the respect of your colleagues within a F2F Fundraising environment;
Professional level competence in written and spoken English;
Accuracy in all written and electronic record keeping.
