International Market Intelligence Manager

We are currently recruiting for an International Market Intelligence Manager to join our Global Fundraising Hub and work collaboratively with a team of Fundraising Specialists across the movement.  This is a great opportunity for a true self-starter to build up a new marketing intelligence function and take a leading role in the design of this new team. 

Job description

In this new role you will engage with national leaders in fundraising, and their teams, to ensure key market intelligence and fundraising insights at the global level.  You will lead on the global fundraising data insight analysis, used to make informed strategic decisions in regards to global funding priorities, track the progress of private fundraising, and identify market-based opportunities to increase the volume and value of the global supporter base. 

You will also manage and drive forward our participation in the IFL peer review and global donor insights initiative, ensure that we embed a core set of priority global KPI’s with a focus on ROI and LTV, and support other developments to improve our global ability to improve real-time decision-making.

Candidate requirements

In order to be successful you will be/bring:

  • Experience of analysing and leading on global benchmarking and providing actionable insights for decision-making in Individual Giving
  • A strategic thinker who understands the importance of having robust fundraising measurement metrics and has the ability to clearly and reliably provide data insights to audiences of varying knowledge levels
  • A demonstrable understanding and/or experience of working within a team with knowledge management and skill sharing responsibilities equivalent in scale and focus to this role
  • The capacity to build and maintain excellent relations and to work effectively in a multicultural and multi-ethnic environment respecting diversity
  • Strong personal organisational and self-management skills with an ability to work in teams and motivate others
  • A demonstrable ability to think critically, objectively, analytically and strategically, solve problems quickly and show initiative
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools commonly used in the sector
  • The willingness and ability to travel to support members directly or to relevant events as required (up to 20%)
