Children of Heroes is a Ukrainian charity fund helping children who have lost one or both parents due to the Russian war in Ukraine. Our goal is to enable and support the Children of Heroes to be the best representatives of the Ukrainian nation and integrate them into the global community.

Our vision is to help the Children of Heroes as they grow up, without parents, to find their way, despite loss, adversity and trauma, to grow up and achieve their greatest potential in live — both personally and professionally. We envisage that the thousands of children in our care will eventually be able to lead happy, healthy and successful lives, achieving academic excellence and career success.

Job description

“Children of Heroes” charity fund seeks a Global Public Relations Manager to be responsible for building awareness and credibility for our fund at international level.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creation and execution of global communication strategy
  • Building reputation and brand awareness, promoting the Fund at international level (European countries, USA, Canada, etc.)
  • Promotion of “Children of Heroes” in world mass media, ensure strong and consistent social media presence
  • Formation and support of interest in our Fund activities internationally (organization of partnerships, events etc.)
  • Cooperation with key opinion leaders, influencers, celebrities
  • Managing agencies

Candidate requirements

What you bring:

  • BA/MA degree in Marketing, Journalist, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
  • Proven working experience in public relations
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at global level
  • Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
  • Solid connections in media and TV
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Writing and editing skills
  • Strong result focus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
