Job description

This position reports directly to the Director Marketing & Communications

Your role

  • You contribute to the development of the public fundraising strategy and are responsible for donor retention and development. 
  • You analyse the evolution of donor interests and you continuously optimize the donor journey of the various donor groups.
  • You coordinate direct marketing campaigns, telemarketing campaigns and donor events.
  • You are responsible for the communication with donors in strong collaboration with the donor service team
  • You regularly review and adjust the effectiveness and success of the different fundraising activities.

Required skills and experiences

  • You have a degree in Marketing/Fundraising and relevant work experience of at least five years in a similar capacity, preferably in an NGO.
  • You have excellent German language skills (preferably mother tongue) as well as very good English and French language skills and you are familiar with the donor market in Switzerland.
  • You have very good analytical, project management and organizational skills and are well-versed in dealing with donor databases. 
  • You value working for an international organization and are interested in children's rights, development cooperation and humanitarian aid. 
  • You are a proactive, reliable, efficient and team-oriented personality with good negotiating skills and are ready to respond flexibly and promptly to unforeseen events.
