Job description

This post will be part of the OI Secretariat Income and Supporter Development team.

Oxfam International is looking for an International Face to Face Specialist to support the growth of our in house and agency F2F teams globally in order to hit our unrestricted income targets for 2020 and beyond.

Candidate requirements

The successful applicant will have:

  • Substantial proven success in managing and developing large scale committed regular donor schemes and all aspects of F2F donor acquisition.
  • Proven project management skills with a strong knowledge of all the financial aspects of F2F fundraising including analysis of costs/income, ROI, attrition data and all other KPIs relating to F2F management.
  • Practical F2F experience in managing street and door teams, preparing materials and scripts, analysing and reporting on donor recruitment including long term attrition and in donor communications plans and materials – ideally through both agency and in-house approaches.
  • Thorough knowledge of F2F fundraising trends across multiple markets.
  • Experience of budgeting and performance management of F2F programs.
  • Experience of providing tools and training on F2F methods.
  • An outstanding record of high performance as a senior manager in F2F fundraising.
  • A passion for Oxfam’s work and a long-term dedication to improving F2F fundraising performance in line with Oxfam’s 2020 F2F global strategy.
  • An adaptable approach that can motivate both in house F2F managers and Fundraising Directors as well as F2F agency partners to achieve outstanding results.
  • The willingness to travel 12 to 16 weeks a year to improve F2F performances globally for Oxfam.

Fluency in English required and competence in French and/or Spanish is desirable.
