Background

Do you have a proven track record in legacy fundraising, boundless energy; fantastic communications skills and a desire to change the world?

Compassion in World Farming is a fast-growing and influential campaigning charity that is already transforming the lives of millions of farm animals around the world and seeking to change fundamentally the way our food is produced. We are looking for a talented new international legacy marketing manager to inspire future income from our passionate movement of supporters and donors.

Typically, over a third of our critical work only happens because of the incredible gifts made to us by supporters in their Wills.  Our legacy mission is simple: ‘Through a dialogue with Compassion, all those most closely associated with the charity will have considered whether a legacy is right for them and their family – and acted on their decision.’ You will be responsible for driving an innovative programme of engagement and communication that delivers against this mission, globally.

As our new international legacy manager, you will be responsible for leading the UK legacy programme and helping secure the future of this vital income stream.  You will also be responsible for implementing our new global legacy strategy in various countries in Europe and the US. You will be part of a growing international team.

Your passion for marketing and communications will be matched by your ability to deal confidently and sensitively with supporters who are considering making such a personal commitment to changing the world.  You will also play a vital part in supporting and working with colleagues in the UK and other offices worldwide as we seek to grow our movement of supporters making such incredible gifts.

To succeed in this role, you will have a track record of delivering fantastic legacy marketing communications.  You will be entrepreneurial, creative, have gravitas, exceptional communication skills and the ability to work directly with supporters and those considering making a gift in their will.
